Lewis, Hooper & Dick, LLC Accountants Announce New Member

Lewis, Hooper & Dick, LLC is pleased to announce Kristin J. Sekavec, CPA, has been promoted to member of the firm.

Sekavec joined Lewis, Hooper & Dick, LLC in 2004 after earning her Master of Business Administration degree from Fort Hays State University. She specializes in tax and audit services for governmental agencies and serves as chair for the firm’s governmental niche practice group. Sekavec’s management of the niche practice group includes overseeing a team of staff that prepare tax returns, financial statements, budgets, and audit engagements for clients. She also serves on the firm’s accounting and auditing committees.

 

Sekavec also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Kansas State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA). She serves on the board of editors for the Kansas Municipal Audit and Accounting Guide (KMAAG) and is the treasurer of the USD 457 Florence Wilson Elementary School PTO. Originally from Ness City, Kansas, Sekavec currently resides in Garden City, Kansas, with her husband, Caleb, and their four children.
